How to Cancel Any Subscription

Start with the receipt

The app on your phone may not be the company that billed you. Apple, Google Play, a mobile carrier, or the merchant itself can own the subscription. The receipt tells you which account to open.

Finish the cancellation

• Use the account that paid. A family member may share the service while another account owns the plan.
• Read the final screen. Look for an end date, cancelled status, or an option to reactivate.
• Save the confirmation. Keep the email, screenshot, and transaction identifier until the next billing date passes.
• Check what ends. Cloud storage, downloaded media, or member discounts may change when the paid period expires.

If the subscription is missing

Check your other email addresses and app-store accounts. Search the receipt for the merchant name and transaction identifier. If the charge is unrecognized, contact the merchant and your card issuer promptly instead of entering sensitive card details into this site.

If a charge already happened

Cancellation stops future renewals. A refund follows a separate policy. Open the merchant's refund page, note the deadline and account region, then keep a copy of the request you send.
